New Jin's Re-launch of 'New Jeans 2023 Season'"Reward for your support"
New Jeans' "2023 Season's Greetings" will be re-released. This is an unusual phenomenon that occurred when the popularity of New Jins expanded beyond Korea to the mainstream pop market.
ADOR announced on the 24th that "New Jeans 2023 SEASON'S GREETING" will be additionally released on April 14th through the Weverse community and fan communication app 'Poning'.
The decision came after a flood of requests for additional releases amid enthusiastic support from fans. In fact, "New Jeans 2023 SEASON'S GREETINGS" has been in short supply among global fans since it was sold out as soon as it was released in December last year.
"New Jeans 2023 SEASON'S GREETINGS" consists of calendars, diaries, playing cards (photo cards), and photo books. The 54 playing cards, which contain the friendly charm of the members of New Jins, became very popular with word of mouth-to-mouth.
In general, it is very rare for "Season's Greetings," which is in high demand at the end of the year, to come out again about four months after the release. This is possible because Newzins has swept major domestic and foreign charts and presented a new paradigm for K-pop.
The growing popularity of Newzins is surprising. From their debut songs "Hype Boy" and "Attention," to their recently released single album "Ditto" and title song "OMG," they have dominated the top of the music charts for months.
In particular, "Ditto" has topped the weekly chart for 13 consecutive weeks on Melon, which boasts the largest share of the domestic music market, breaking the record for the longest time. Thanks to this popularity, both New Jeans' debut album "New Jeans" and the single "OMG" have sold more than 1 million copies.
Newzins stands out in the mainstream pop market without any overseas activities. Newzins entered the U.S. Billboard's "Hot 100" six months after its debut and was named for six consecutive weeks, during which "Ditto" and "OMG" ranked 82nd and 74th (as of February 18), respectively. In the Oricon weekly combined singles ranking (January 16 and March 13), newzins was also crowned with the single "OMG".
